People who have seen Bruce Willis on screen will find it hard to believe that he used to stammer as a child. This 49 year old actor accepted that his imperfect speech got the better of him but he struggled hard to overcome it. Bruce says "I was one of the fortunate people who grew out of it. Everybody has some kind of vocal flaw. It's what makes us unique. I was lucky enough in college to work with a speech therapist for a very brief amount of time, and he gave me some exercises to work on. The key to it was the fact that when I got onstage and when I was an actor, I didn't stutter. That was a miracle in itself."
