Ben Affleck is a Globe Award-nominated film actor and director and has won an Academy Award and Golden Globe Award as a screenwriter. He is most remembered for his role in Good Will Hunting and is a Hollywood leading man who has starred in several big budget films. This hunk is able to customize his body as per the requirement of the role through his diet and workout.
Ben Affleck sported a healthy tough look for his role in Pearl Harbor. To get into the skin of the character of the character, Ben used to have four protein shakes, a small serving of oatmeal, six egg white and a piece of fruit daily for breakfast. This was followed by chicken breast, rice, vegetables or salad for lunch. His dinner was simple and light where he stuck to fish teamed with salad or vegetables. When he is not preparing for a role in the movies, he sticks to low carb, balanced diet. He also limits his calorie intake to about 1800. When asked about his weight loss secret, he quipped “just lay off bread”.
During his pearl harbour days, he worked out with Jorgen De May for three to six hours a week in the gym. He does speed walking on steep treadmill combined with free weights and machines. Post that he stuck to weightlifting and cardio on a treadmill to remain fit.
