Winona Ryder has been diagnosed with kleptomania. This is a compulsive disorder with where the person continuously keeps stealing despite having the money to afford the stolen goods. Winona Ryder allegedly stole a bag of make up at a Hollywood pharmacy which had set off alarms. Apparently this was not reported at LAPD as she returned the goods. It seems that she also stole clothes worth $5,500 from in 2001.
