Madonna - The Queen of Pop

Madonna, even in her 50’s can make teenagers sigh. Post delivering two children, Madonna still has the diva image, with a body that most women only dream of. But she follows a very tough regime to get that body. Despite the luxuries, she is said to have a life style that is obsessed with fitness.

Her day starts with Ashtang yoga, which she practices at her personal gym. This helps her tone her muscles and build her cardio ratings. She practices the third series of Ashtang yoga which is equivalent to that of Olympic athletes. Post this she cycles to do Pilates in the North London Pilates studio. Post lunch, she mixes her exercise routine between floor dance workout, cycling, swimming, biking and martial arts. She also does horse ridings on sundays to keep her thighs toned. This ensures that she does not injure or overuse a particular group of muscles and also prevents injury.

Even while she is in her office, taking calls, she is continuously working out in one form of the other. Madonna also indulges on three sessions of hour long shiatsu massage which helps to relieve the strain in her muscles.

Despite all these exercises, Madonna does not go easy on her food. She is into micro biotic diet where she knows the calorie content of everything that she eats. She also avoids frequenting restaurants as she does not like eating substance which she does not know the contents of. She is said to be so obsessed with her fitness that she stays only in those hotels that have excellent gyms.
