Dileep Rao who essayed the role of Yusuf in inception was actually studying to be a surgeon. This American actor of Indian origin also had a role in the award wining “Avatar”. Like most Indian parents who have moved to the U.S, his parents also dreamt of making a surgeon out of their son, till Dileep realized that acting was his calling. Post a few small roles; he landed a meaty role in Inception, which has propelled him to stardom.
